"M.O.R.E. has been such a blessing to Raquel (middle) this is her second year attending the program. The staff is wonderful. They work with each individual and Raquel has been so elated with the attention and one on one communication. The staff works very closely with each participant and identify any issues that they feel may need to be brought to my attention. She especially loves the movie night and opportunity to meet others and also the different activities throughout the year. She says her favorite part of the program is the arts and crafts that they have an opportunity to make things with their hands. Overall, this program is a godsend because she needed to be a part of something after losing her sister to a tragic accident. Thank you so much for allowing her to be a part of something so big. God bless the awesome founders and staff." - Lola, Raquel's (middle) auntie
"Jennifer (left) has been going to MORE for about 2 years now which she loves!
It’s an amazing organization with crafts being made to sell at markets to
conversations about feelings and appropriate behavior.
The motto that everyone knows is to treat all people with kindness and respect.
The most important part of each meeting is the bonding and friendships that have been made by all." - Mary, Jennifer's caregiver
In 2021, I took over caring for my brother and mother after our dad unexpectedly passed. They moved in with me and my sweet brother began spending a lot of his time helping care for our mother. While I am forever grateful for his help around the house and with our mom, I wanted more for him. I dreamed of finding him a place where he could socialize with new people, have some independence, be creative, and find his purpose. I had started to investigate the possibility of getting him a job but was concerned about the logistics of transportation, his SSI work limitations, and ever-changing shift schedules that come with retail work.
He had been out of the workforce since the beginning of the pandemic, and I knew he was going to need to find an accommodating and understanding work environment. Finding such a place felt like an impossible task because my husband and I were trying to balance managing my dad’s estate, caring for my mom and brother, caring for my Father-in-law who recently had a stroke, planning our wedding, working full time as teachers, and raising our 6-month-old.
Lucky for us, two angels named Sarah and Kim arrived into our lives. Last June, my brother and I attended the special needs movie night at RPC where Kim and Sarah told me all about their wonderful program called MORE. It seemed like the perfect fit for my brother, although he was hesitant about it. He had not had much interaction with his peers with IDD since he finished high school in 2014. Even in high school, he said he didn’t feel like they were his friends.
I quickly got him registered and he started last August. Over the past year of attending MORE on Tuesday and Wednesdays, I have noticed a major change in my brother. He’s happier, he has friends, he is getting new experiences, learning to open up and talk about his feelings. He is showing more compassion towards others and has found a purpose.
MORE Possibilities has been such a blessing to our family! They have alleviated so much of my own stress and worry. I will never again have to worry if my brother is being cared for, because I know Sarah and Kim have it all under control. My brother is part of a community, and he has friends for the first time in his adult life. I cannot thank MORE enough for their efforts and for allowing him to be a part of their fantastic program.

"M.O.R.E. Possibilities has been the greatest gift God has ever put in our pathway. They definitely deliver on every part of what M.O.R.E stands for; community, friendships, and great experiences! We thank the whole team for all they do! The best is yet to come!" - Debbie, Trey's (left) Grandmother
"My adult daughter has intellectual and developmental disabilities. Due to her disabilities, we relocated to Richmond Texas to be closer to her older siblings. I was very concerned about her social life because she is no longer in school. Therefore, she has limited opportunity to engage with others and make friends. I learned about M.O.R.E. Possibilities from her health coordinator and this program is a blessing to us. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and understanding. I want to thank the entire staff for all they do for adults with disabilities. All my daughter wanted to do was make friends and have a sense of belonging. I appreciate M.O.R.E. for providing her with the opportunity to enjoy life with people that do not judge her because of her disability. M.O.R.E. Possibilities accepted my daughter, and she has made several friends. M.O.R.E. is truly a safe space for my daughter to express herself. They helped her develop her skills and I am so thankful for M.O.R.E. Possibilities. I just want to give the staff a heartfelt Thank You and I pray for much success this upcoming year.
WAY TO GO M.O.R.E." - Anjie, Shanesha's (left) mom
